There are four important components to know before starting with the Zmanda installation.
- Network.Zmanda.com – It is the licensing portal of Zmanda that lets you download licenses, backup server binaries, and raise support tickets, among other product lifecycle-related actions.
- Zmanda Management Console (ZMC) – It is a user interface for Zmanda that allows users to integrate diverse data backup strategies with just a couple of clicks.
- Backup Server – It works with the ZMC to run backups in the enterprise environment.
- Backup Agent – It helps interface the source data to the ZMC.
